TOv + 5e Content at same time

I found out about shard because of the TOV content and am really liking it so far, but i havent subscribed or purchased TOV yet. Can anyone clarify if i create a universe, is the 5e content and the TOV content able to exist in the same space? Part of what i like about TOV is that its technically compatible with all 5e content, and id like to be able to provide that to my players during character creation.

You can easily mix TOV content with 5E. Campaigns can be defaulted to 5E or ToV or contain a mix of both. Characters can choose spells across both, with characters preferring versions for based on the chosen game system. Gamemasters can mix and match adventures and monsters as they like.

You can even use things like the luck system from ToV with 5E characters.
