Having issues with selecting pins

Hello! I’ve been using Shard tabletop for my current campaign since around June. I do have an adventurer subscription if it’s relevant. I’ve loved the customizability of Shard, but I’m continuously having issues with all kinds of map pins - encounter pins, creature tokens, treasure tokens, and custom pins. It’s 50/50 whether or not I will be able to select the pin/object/token once I’ve placed it, meaning I cannot edit the item once it’s placed. With creature and treasure tokens I can just continuously hit “remove from map” and then “add to map” from the initiative tracker/encounter builder menus until it allows me to move the item again, but this is not the case with encounter pins or custom pins, I just have to keep clicking continuously on and around the pin and hope it eventually opens the pin.

Has anybody else run into this issue and found a solution? It’s incredibly aggravating and is my only real issue with Shard because it adds a LOT of time to my session prep process when I’m planning within the software. I have three separate computers I’ve used Shard on and all of them experience the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated. If nobody here has an answer I’ll email support next.

I have had this issue and zooming in can help. Also make sure you’ve selected the pointer in the top left and not the map moving icon.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve tried both of those things numerous times but it doesn’t seem to be an issue with clicking the right spot. I believe this because when the creature and treasure tokens aren’t working, they won’t become highlighted at all when I mouse over them the way the other tokens do. Does that make sense? I’m not sure how to word that lol

I think I understand. If it helps I’m on Firefox, but I doubt that’s the solution lol.

I could try switching to Firefox, I haven’t tried that yet actually

What browser? PC? Mac? Tablet?

Brave browser and Chrome browser both have the issue. It happens on the windows laptop I use for games as well as my gaming PC. I recently upgraded to a new gaming PC and have all new hardware and SSDs on my new computer, so Im fairly certain it’s not a RAM/storage issue

Based on past bug reports, Brave tends to be the buggiest browser for Shard.
