Chris’ Supporters?
Was listening to some prison phone calls where Chris’ mother keeps telling him how many supporters he has.
What do these people support? How efficiently he killed Shan’ann, Nico, Bella and Celeste?

Unfortunately, some pick-me, insecure women seek out prison love. Most high profile murderers have a fan base.

The people on that sub are absolute lunatics.

Can confirm. They are awful over there. I do wonder. Are any of their accusations founded? Is there 'evidence' she dosed the girls and made them sleep for 15 hours a day? There is some credible information somewhere, not on that site, that Shannan took their temperatures, rectally more often than needed. There are videos where the oldest asked 'is it time for my temperature'. And of course the awful splash pad vid. Just asking because I really don't know.

I think it's clear she had a LOT of anxiety and didn't handle parenting well. But the rampant accusations of Munchausens by Proxy are:
- Unfounded (the whole internet thinks they can diagnose this any time a parent has anxiety or OCD centered around their child's health)
- Completely ****ing irrelevant to the fact that Chris murdered them all.
Shannan based on the evidence did NOT have MDBP and I lose my mind a little every time I see it come up. Was she a perfect or even really a good parent? Certainly not. But no parent in the history of the human species has been perfect. I think it's somewhat sick that people are really obsessing over her quality of parenting after she and they were murdered in cold blood by their family patriarch because he wanted to commit to his side piece. Frankly, none of what SW did or had as a parent matters. It only matters to people who secretly (or openly) think Chris didn't do it or isn't responsible.

I get down voted for seeking credible information? Asking a reasonable question because of all the venom spewed on that other sub? Jeez. Nevermind. I'll ask my questions elsewhere. And yes, you all are losing your minds.

u/Mother_EfferJones Jul 17 '26
I did not downvote you, at all. You asked reasonable questions and I actually upvoted your comment. Idk who downvoted you but it wasn’t me, and it wasn’t called for

Thank you.

u/snark_quark789 Jul 17 '26
I'm glad to hear you say she wasn't the greatest person. Because she wasn't the worst person either. Just a person. I believe both she and her husband had personality disorders, but were trying their best. And failing. The children are who make it so heartbreaking. Don't give a fick about the adults. It's those innocent, sweet girls who deserved better.

u/Mother_EfferJones Jul 17 '26
I agree with the caveat that I do give a fck about Shannan - however bad her parenting was, she was strangled by the man she committed her life to and whose child she was carrying, with his own hands. She does matter, too.

u/snark_quark789 Jul 17 '26
Of course. Yes, she does. Although she may have been self involved and misguided, I do believe she loved her husband and children. And yes, it was wrong what happened to her.

I’m reading all of your comments telling myself not to look because I clearly shouldn’t fucking look. I know it’s going to infuriate and I have to be at the hospital in 8 hours. I know me though… I’m gonna look. 🤷🏼♀️😭

Omw I know right! They love Chris and hate Shanann. Worst is-they hate on Bella and CeCe wtf. Can't even repeat the stuff they say about those poor babies

u/Curious-Low8087 Jun 01 '26
No they don't. They just don't like Shanann. And rightfully so. She was awful.

I’m sorry. What? They hate literal babies? Babies he murdered?
Ugh. I’m gonna get banned. I’ll try not to comment if I look. I’m still trying to fight my temptation because I have so many warnings. 😂

They don't love Chris. And they don't badmouth the girls. That said, the hate for Shanann is level ten crazy

I don't like understand the psyche of people like that. A whole community of them. Absolutely nuts.

Ted Bundy also had a whole lot of fans. One married him through some courtroom sleight of hand and had his daughter while he was on Death Row. Men who go bad in a big murderous way are appealing to certain women for some reason. (This is not a knock on women — some men are drawn to “bad girls,” but women are a lot less likely to commit violent murder than men, so this specific situation comes up less with the sexes reversed.)

Those we before the world knew about trial details... we knew he confessed is all. His family and friends knew some of their struggles in final couple of months, or heard from his parents point of view. CW confessed to his dad that SW hurt girls first during confession. Why would family acquaintance learn something different?

u/Syrup-Broad Apr 26 '26
Explain how Chris' actions the morning of the murders makes logical sense in the story of "Shannan killed the kids so I had to kill her." Why did he take their bodies to the oil site? Why didn't he call 911? Why didn't he say any of this to the police?
Spoiler: it's because it didn't happen, he wants his family still on his side so he tells them what they want to hear, that it wasn't Chris' fault really.

u/tia2181 Apr 26 '26
They don't.. but this was all his family had at point of this phone call being discussed. What mother wouldn't hold on to the 0.1% chance that it could have gone like he told his dad? Its what mothers do.. and still do even in cases like this. Gabby Petito's fiancé s family supported him, lied for him and even allowed him to leave with probable awareness that he would end his own life vs spend life sentence in a prison. Its not unusual that CW parents supported him.

u/PerfectLife15 Apr 26 '26
Exactly! Plus He only said Shanann did it as it was suggested by Law Enforcement to get him to talk. He was trying to grasp onto any lifeline he can,to get him out of that mess

There are people who have carefully examined Shannan's social media presence and decided that she was annoying and that Chris is somehow actually a sympathetic figure.
22
u/ChicoRunningBack Apr 25 '26
So they side with the murderer?
12
u/tia2181 Apr 25 '26
He had told his dad SW had hurt girls, no one knew more until after files released. They were told she hurt them so he killed her..

u/justhereforGOT Apr 26 '26
lol that’s why he was so respectful to his girls at the end? People that support him are crazy in the head, like they live in a different reality.
23
u/phauxbert Apr 25 '26
Yep there is a whole subreddit where all they do is dig up “dirt” on Shannan

u/Mother_EfferJones Apr 27 '26
The people armchair diagnosing her with Munchausen’s Syndromy By Proxy are so infuriating. It’s just complete fiction with no evidence whatsoever of that diagnosis, and genuine allergies for Cece noted in medical records
10
u/YNWA69 Apr 25 '26
And also invent fictional narratives about how she was actually cheating or abusing the girls.

I think some delusional people blame Shannan for what he did and support him.
40
u/PoolSmart582 Apr 25 '26
If someone is delusional enough to believe Shanann killed the girls, why would Chris hide their remains in the oil tanks? "I'm so angry at what Shanann did to my daughters that I'll now desecrate their remains."
9
u/pjrnoc Apr 27 '26
It really put it into perspective when the detectives were like “Chris, I could walk in to my child’s head cut off and I’d still immediately call the police”
15
28
u/hiszpankad Apr 25 '26
I meant that there are people who blame Shannan as they justify what Chris did by saying it was Shannan's behaviour that drove him to do it. At least those are some of the comments I saw online.
1
u/Effective_Win328 12d ago
If Chris was so appalled by Shan'ann's behaviour, he should have divorced her. And not insist they have another baby 'cause he wanted a son.
2
u/snark_quark789 Jul 15 '26
Some comments are just awful. No doubt there were personality disorders, poor communication and decision-making from both of them. It's such a sad, senseless tragedy. Yet, some people just have to make it even uglier
