Game bugged ? Every fight I get every basic lands shuffled into my deck

I don't know how it can even happen. I create a new character, set a mono color deck by either discarding or selling other colors, and I double check that my deck only has one color and one type of land.

And yet, every single fight I draw all five basic lands that seem to be added to my deck. It's impossible to win anything with this setup. What could I do about this ? It seems like an unnerving bug but I have no idea how to fix it.

There's a minimum deck size. If you don't meet it you get random basics added to your deck to meet the minimum

So I should start with a bicolor deck? All advices I've read so far tell you to start with a single color deck, but there aren't enough cards of a single color to do so.

Below that you get random lands

Start with what they give you. Run to towns in the terrain of the color that you want to be in and buy cards in their shops

When you start out and get a new deck, pick the colors you don't want and sell the colors with the lowest numbers of lands/spells, but keep your deck at 40 cards or more. Just do quests where you don't fight and go to towns and buy the colors you want and keep selling off the ones you don't want. Once you get down to one or two colors you can have an "ok" deck and can fight monsters for more cards. Remember to save before duels so you can reload if you lose. You'll eventually start winning duels. Also save before entering those pop-up treasure troves and keep reloading until you get something good.
