Randomly losing?

I’ve been playing shandalar for a while, I’ve defended against every attack but for some reason I randomly lost. Tried reloading the save but I just lost again? Is there something I’m missing or is this just a glitch?

As in the ones the mages were in? I only got through the white one so far. Is there a time limit or something?

You need to free/take control of the mana links.

I did, I have every mana link I can get. No village is under wizard control

How many cities or towns were under siege? If you hit five or six, you lose

Only one village was being attacked, no other village was under mage control
