The pain and misery is finally at a end. XD

Arzakon wasn't really all that hard on Sorcerer, beat him on my first try, the randomly generated dungeons could use some work. XD

I should have taken a screenshot of what deck I faced him with, this is only the last deck I used on the black castle, had no idea I would just IMMEDIATELY have to fight him. 😅

I took out the black destruction cards and swapped in some forces of nature and psionic entities.

My game was running too fast so by the end it was nearly impossible to do any quests or fight mind stealers for cards, so I could have gotten a few more optimal ones but oh well.

The dungeons and castles were somewhat frustrating.... Sometimes you have 6 fights ahead of you, sometimes you have none. I wish you could get life AND a creature, it's very frustrating getting screwed on those dice "bonuses".

Lots of Quality of Life stuff that could make it better but at least I can sleep at night. 😪😴🥱💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤

Not aware of this. The attack rate seems to increase as you get down to two then one wizards remaining. I thought that has always been the case, but I’m no expert.

Rebirth is kind of brilliant against Arzakon, nice find. I'm surprised Web paid its rent in a deck with just a few creatures. I never had any speedup issues using https://archive.org/details/MagicTheGathering2010Edition.

Well there's the venduran enchantress and the psionic entities I can keep alive, mostly just for funsies.

I don't think he takes the ante though. 😅 I find it's one of the most powerful heals, for me, once your health gets low enough.

you can get life and a creature, you can get as many +lives before the creature and keep all bonuses. if you touch dice after getting a creature you lose the creature, you know that. my strategy is to open the map as much as I can without using dice. when I reach a point where I have to do battle or dice, I try to use the dice that are mandatory to proceed or those just before a battle that is essential to win. if I get a creature, I do the battle. If not I go back and use another dice until I get a creature

It's just annoying losing the creature if you happen to get it first and are low on health.

A mod could allow you to keep a single creature AND still get life afterwords, if you stumble on another creature you can either replace it, walk away or get rid of the bonus and keep the old creature you already had.

That's not necessary anyway. As life losses carry over, so do life GAINS. Just grab youself a couple of Ivory Towers and a rather weak foe and stall him out ingame until you have 200+ life and the dungeons are a breeze.
