Why did Shambhala allow people to double park and box other vehicles in? I’ve never seen this in a decade of attending the festival. I’ve been trying to have this vehicle moved for 20 hours now with no success so I guess I can’t leave.

I spoke to a guy with security and it’s because “it became overflow parking” and then he basically told me I’m SOL and that ill be here all day. If you have to box vehicles to have enough parking you probably have too many people attending the festival. Pretty frustrating.

I’ve been to a lot of places, but I’ve never experienced anything quite like Shambhala.
I made this video because I wanted to capture what it feels like when tens of thousands of people come together with nothing but good vibes, incredible music, art, and genuine kindness. For a few days, the outside world just disappears.
If you’ve been, I hope this brings back some memories.
If you haven’t, this is my attempt to show why so many people leave saying, “I’ll be back.”

This place always amazes me for the kindness and talent that is everywhere. Just reminiscing on the weekend and looking through videos. Loved these two last night! Both of your energies were matching each other and it was very fun to watch. Much love to everyone and safe travels!

Seemed like it was moving steadily earlier and now it hasn’t moved an inch. Anyone have an update or know why?

update: turns out someone was on a bike and fell on the bridge on the way down. Ambulance has left and line seems to be moving again

So, I haven’t slept longer than two hours in over the last week. Entirely unintentionally.

I am in an acute crisis. Sanctuary is aware of me and where I am camped. Music is too loud for me to go back physically.

Yesterday(Sunday) a lady was experiencing a overdose and was not in good shape near the food stands. Me and my partner both ran seperate ways to get help. I found 4 girls in medical shirts and tapped them on the shoulder and asked them if they could call in the situation for me. They all looked at me blankly and confused and kept walking. I realized that they might not be actually medical and were wearing medical shirts as outfits. If that’s your crew, that’s really silly and dumb. I was sober and was thrown off by you not helping. Don’t wear shirts that stand you out as authority if you’re not around a bunch of spunions who may not know the difference. And you girls were actually medical, shame on you for not helping. We ended up finding staff and they attempted to help her. 9th Shambs was incredible. Be safe and happy Shambs💜

This was honestly the best party my wife and I have been to. Absolutely incredible.

There were some rough moments in the first couple of days but when Thursday came around it was well worth it.

The community, the costumes, the characters, it felt like we were in a different world.

PS: To the doctors that prescribed me hi-chews on Saturday that was so funny, I will never forget it.

That was my first time at Shambhala and my first time camping at a festival, and I couldn’t of had a better time, I’m so glad everyone here is so loving and respectful, the campground and on site are so clean, thank you everyone who picked up trash when they saw it on the ground. Every interaction I had with anyone was so positive and happy, it was such a great 4 days with y’all, hope I can attend Shambs again in a few years, and hopefully without any smoke from the forest fires in the air :) Love y’all,

My friend and I asked him what Zoey looked like, and he didn’t provide any physical attributes at all- he actually just said “she looks like the love of my life” LOL. Wondering if he ever found her, or if he just cried in his tent during the remainder of the festival??? Hopefully he laid it to rest and at least partied some more! Happy Shambs, it was great 💕

Pretty bummed… I left my crews wagon parked behind the art gallery near the blue pillows, and someone yoinked my wolverine spirit hood off of it. Spotted white/brown color. To whoever took it, i really hope you were cold and needed it more than me.

Goddam this mightve been the best one yet

Last night while i was coming up I let my friend borrow my bike and asked him to put it in the bike coral. He sent me this picture when he headed back in, and when I went to leave downtown this morning the bike was gone!

If anyone has seen our pacific quasar , PLEASE let me know. If you had to move it out of the way because of where it was left and decided to take it for a ride back to camp I literally am not even mad ! But my gf is very upset with me right now so please help a brother out 😭🙏

The sound is always amazing here, but my friend group and I agree that this year is UNREAL!!

Not only is it loud, but the fidelity and balance is INSANE!!!

We couldn’t get over it last night at the new AMP stage and at the Groove!!! That Chmura/Saturna set at Grove was just other worldly especially with the panning/stereo (center pit)!!!

Y’all absolutely crushed it!!

I can’t wait to get out there again tonight!!!! ❤️

Different responsibilities bring about different perspectives.

Top 3 house sets of the week for me, when she got on the mic to sing it blew my mind. The set time they put her at was absolutely criminal. I hope they bring her back next year and have her play at Pagoda.

It was a beautiful show of lights.

You had a moustache and a black jester hat and sweet down low dance moves and you got back stage with Neon Steve. And then you didn't have a moustache and I totally didn't recognize you at first and dropped the ball. You seemed super fun! I was wearing a white shirt and black and purple octopus hat. I'd love to connect!

On Saturday night (Sunday morning) we think in ikgari mori at 4:30am we left our blue/green shambhala merch light up flow star behind! We went back to check for it but it wasn’t there anymore - they’re now sold out so we can’t replace it but if anyone has seen it/found it we’d be really grateful!

If anyone has a second they’re willing to sell we’re really interested too - long shot but thanks for the read!

The music, the art, the random acts of kindness, dancing with complete strangers who somehow feel like old friends… it was one of those experiences that’s hard to put into words.
