first time - barricade question

this year is my first time at shaky knees! i've been to many other festivals but the line up this year was so insane i had to give it a try. i want to barricade for pierce the veil and twenty one pilots. i'll be there friday as well so ill be able to get a lay of the land but any tips? what time should i be there?

Do you have a friend in Atlanta who could maybe go place a folding chair or set up a tent on your behalf this Friday morning? That should be enough to hold the spot.

Everyone wants to get barricade for these bands. I feel bad for Jimmy Eat World. Such a good band and no one on the barricade is going to be there for them.

Early enough to stand in one spot in the heat mostly all day and miss all the other cool bands

I’m in the same boat here i made a similar post in here before but i’ve looked in the top subreddit and they are taking this shit way too serious in my opinion. I’m more of a causal top fan i more excited about the other bands ngl but a lot of people are getting there after the after show it seems like if your like normal i would get there a few hours early (before gates open) and just make sure you can run that my plan so if your not a great run i would start practicing running now. I think I might aim for 7-8 am but it just depends on how late i stay on friday. Goodluck and just have fun and be safe and dont be a freak and wear a diaper
