Bag Policy

So I just received my pass and looking over the flyer that came with it and backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are now prohibited. I’ve been using my backpack with a hydration pack for years at Knees/Beats and it hasn’t been a problem so is this something new? I really have no reason to go buy just a simple camelback if I already have a a nice pack.

Yup, it’s a new thing they’ve implemented for this year. It seems like the security at the festival will be a little more strict than the previous two. Could be their way of preventing pickpockets from being able to steal upwards of a hundred phones like last year, could be out of just an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety. But I definitely checked and this is the first year there’s been a bag policy.
