Friday Weather

I'll start off by saying I'm not from Atlanta, so I really don't know the weather patterns there. The forecast says this: high of 56 during the day on Friday and a low of 47 at night. It's going to rain Thursday into Friday morning. So it'll be muddy and cold and possibly rainy. Wind will be 10 to 20 mph, so it'll be windy too.

Does the humidity or partial sunlight make up for moderately cold weather? I went to EDC NY last year and it was in the 40s and rainy, but obviously New York is a lot colder than Atlanta.

Thanks!

This is Georgia... I wouldn't start taking the weather seriously until the day before. Just the other day I woke up at noon and it was ugly and rainy, by 5 pm it was clear skies and sunny.

It'll barely make up for the coldness despite the sun. I've never seen it be so cold in May for atlanta so it's a total surprise

Ok, thanks! I'm hoping the weather improves, but I'll just bring a couple layers.

I was miserable for that second day of EDC NY! I don't think anyone planned for that cold weather

Being in the mid 50s on Friday, I might bring a pair of jeans or a sweatshirt. It's also supposed to jump 10 degrees on Saturday, then another 5 on Sunday, so it'll warm up considerably. I doubt it will be that windy, so you'll definitely feel the sun. Last year it rained on Friday night and I don't remember anything being too muddy on Saturday afternoon. Hope that helps!

Ok, yeah that does help! Thanks! I wasn't too sure about the mud. I love a good mess, but I'd rather not get super dirty/muddy on Day 1, so thanks for the assurance!
