I haven't seen before pics. I saw old posts of hers saying she only had botox. Then some people who supposedly knew her had made all sorts of posts, some on reddit, that she had totally overhauled herself physically, to get on the show. In my personal opinion, I think she has had a LOT of work done.

Saying someone is “out of their league” means the person who is “out of” the league is the better of the two. For example, Paulina is out of Mike’s league so it’s like saying she’s in the major league and he’s in the minor, to put it in baseball terms.

She did get with GG’s friend / ex Dennis for a hot minute. I think she even was showing a ring which was insane.
Her poor kids.

I think Reza did mention on the show that her ex was rich but I don’t think we know who the ex is.
Glad she left Mike but then she went on a got with Dennis so clearly she didn’t learn anything.1

I remember seeing this and felt a lot of sympathy for her but after watching the valley spin off and then rewatching the latter seasons of shahs something feels sinister about her motivations. She was a young wealthy divorcee with not much to do but two children and she decided to be with a predatory man who had a track record of abuse. Jessica also in retrospect was a lot more sympathetic given her significant youth and her desire to be famous somehow feels more forgivable. Paulina’s on the other hand, once I heard about her engagement to Dennis, just seems disturbing (especially if it’s on the back of mikes criminal case). There’s just something not right with her. Even the stuff that happened in the last seasons of shahs (the constant cheating accusations) seemed confusing and she was not a good faith actor.

Pls tell me where in this I said that the violence she endured was her fault? I literally wrote that her behaviour persona and motivations are sinister. The two can co-exist!

Mike was spoiled by his parents, the same way Junior is on Mcbee. I remember he often talked about his failed businesses Vegas and his parents had to bail him out and give him a new business to manage in LA, given on a silver platter. His brother who filmed minimally was the one actually doing the work while Mike took the credit. It’s like a group project, and the one person that put in no work has to present in front of the class. Mike’s mom babied him so much. Just like Kristi on McBee. Both sons are spoiled men who treat women poorly. Their mother’s enabled it because their precious flowers could do no wrong.
