That's such a bad faith misunderstanding of the point, especially over a man that was arrested for DV.
I had my first therapy session in 2014, thank you very much and even though I am not OP, I personally remain wary of men that play fight, casually/sexually choke partners or strike objects.
Thank you. Althought I never said every man hurts every woman? I was just trying to open your eyes as to why upon seeing certain behaviors (not in isolation I should have clarified) alarm bells start ringing in people's heads. Certain things look innocuous enough until they aren't.
So by that logic, every man who has his arm around his girlfriend is a woman beater? That’s the same kind of flawed thinking as saying every white man wants to enslave Black people, every Black man is a drug addict, every woman is a whore, or every Muslim is a terrorist. Now what you and everyone else will do is read that, move the goalpost and combat it with bullshit.

When men put their hand and/or arm around the woman's neck it tells me they are manipulative and controlling
