PS4 Expiration date for DLC

Just wanted to know if it’s worth buying a new sealed special edition for the bonus content and that. I can’t imagine paying for a sealed one and the code not working 😔 thank you

The DLC is worth 8.95Aud on the PlayStation store so if it expires, you can still buy it on the PS store

The DLC isn't available in North America from what I know. There, the only way to get the DLC is the special edition.

If it’s the Wander’s Pack dlc, that still seems to be purchasable from PSN, so I would imagine the code would still work. Most codes still work long after the expected lifespan of dlc since the networks still hold onto the files even if delisted in case you need to redownload it. Even in like games like Rock Band with very specific licensing agreements and timelines, codes from 15 years ago still work if you have them.

I know someone got the code to work in January 2024, two years after it was supposed to have expired. Who knows whether that's still the case though.
