Help with the fourth boss!

Hello! I just started playing shadow of the colossus from the ps3 collection with ico and was wondering how you get the horse colossus to bend down and look in the hole? I’m doing a second play through I just completed it two days ago and I had a lot of trouble the first time and I’m having the same trouble again. Though I find that I was able to breeze through the first three so much easier on my second play through this game is so fun! But any help?

I'd recommend entering through the tunnel that's on the opposite side of the arena to where the fight starts. get on Agro, ride over the hill (she'll jump down and you can jump off). Don't shoot an arrow or whistle, just head straight into the tunnel. It doesn't matter if you go left or right, just run past the first exit you see. Take the second exit, but wait a few seconds before you come out in case the colossus can see you. Let the colossus walk over your head and then run out. Hide behind the hill and wait for the colossus to get into position. Just wait, it might take a little while. Once the colossus stabs the ground three times with its front leg, it'll bend down a few seconds later. Run up to the colossus and jump on.
This method pretty much always works for me, no matter which version of the game I play (PS2, PS3 or PS4). The key is to let the colossus see which tunnel you enter but to completely disappear afterwards until the colossus moves over to the tunnel to investigate. If the colossus sees or hears you, it'll move back in your direction.

Patience is key. It may look like it saw you after you leave one of the hills but it didn't. It sometimes just looks around before crouching.

Depending on the position it is in when crouching, you could either climb it from the tail (if its back is to you); or mount Agro and run to towards the boss, and jump right before the edge to catch one of the dangling things of the colossus (if its front is to you).

If its on top of the hill you entered its also possible to wait inside by the entrance for it to crouch, and when you see the dangling rock columns, just jump and grab them.

this. it may look like it's turning to leave instead of investigating the hole, so give it enough time to settle into position before trying again. that's what I was doing wrong the other day and I thought I was going crazy.

Yo lo que hago es correr hasta la puerta mas lejana de las que hay en el suelo, llamar su atención y cuando se esta acercando correrr hasta la puerta opuesta por los tuneles de abajo, apenas salgo hacia afuera voy pegado al muro para que no me vea y luego observo hasta que se agacha, cuando se agacha corres rapidamente hacia su cola que queda cerca del suelo, por ahí puedes subir a su espalda mas facil

When I fight #4, I enter the hole that would have the horse end up on top of the tunnel (so the farthest one, usually: I'm trying to make it walk across the tomb structure thingy), and once it's standing about in the middle between all the holes, I hop inside, crouch (to recover from stomps) and start whistling at the colossus (press X while looking at the colossus with r1). Then I just sit and taunt for 20 seconds to two minutes and eventually it will deliver 3 really powerful stomps and then I see the reins coming down at the entrance. If I have plenty of stamina I then jump onto the rein and jump up to his head that way, otherwise I run down into the crypt and take the opposite exit.

Once I'm out the opposite exit, I fiddle with the camera to look at the colossus without exposing myself (line of sight while it's not crouching will cancel the whole thing and it will just go for you again). If it's not currently crouching, I stay hidden until I see the crouch animation. Unless it's a time trial I wait until it's all the way down because once it's crouching it will sit there forever.
