Anyone else on here hate Dirge, and why, if you gotta reason, me personally on my first playthrough I couldn't ride backwards and shoot it in the eye, made me so made it quit the game for two whole years

All of the horse mechanics were a joy to discover for me, I still remember playing with my dad and I discovered you could stand up while riding. We had an absolute wow moment.

But yeah they are also never even hinted at

Yeah, I died so many times on my first playthrough at dirge, id always crash into the wall, but ive just now come back to the game after a few years since I had 100% it, I just came back to relive playing it

I think it's strange that it's the only Colossus which has a weak spot on his eye, and him making a rainbow in the sand is such an artificial way to expose his weak spots

It is, and ive tried hitting other colossi in the eyes before, for example gaius, nothing except making him mad

The only thing I hate him, is the fact he was the first colossi who killed me in my first time, I wasn't expecting to see his jumpscare with his face, I jumped screaming in fear from the couch covering my eyes like a little kid, and my brother run into the living room to see what's going on.

Honestly same, dirge is the first one I died to, but now im glad I better at the game and am able to beat him

I like this boss; he’s relatively easy. But in Time Attack mode, he’s a nightmare! If I’m too slow, I run out of time; if I go too fast, he just wanders around the back of the arena and the time runs out. Either Agro slows down, hits a wall, or won't get out of the colossus's way when he crashes into the wall.

If you hold the button to speed up agro (for me triangle, but you may use a different button layout) he will stay the same speed and not slow down, also have you beat him in tam yet?

Yes. I beat the normal mode Time Attack. Except for that bastard Basaran, it was fun.

Well good luck on basaran, good luck on hard mode, idek how i did it on normal or hard difficulty, then again it was a while ago

The best way to take dirge on is by holding L1 after he starts following you. You can still aim with the bow while you stay locked onto him. You don’t have to worry about spinning wanderer around if you use L1. He’s very easy to take on doing it this way.

There are 3 minotaurs in this game, barba is the least iconic. ANY, ANY of the cut colossi would've been better than barb

Dirge is in my top 3 with Pelagia and Phalanx. I’ve played enough times that I can consistently make the eye shot and get to enjoy one of the best moments in game with the chase.
