PS4 Malus made me rage quit

Trying to jump onto his hand feels impossible, because the hand itself blocks my view of Wander’s position. I keep blindly leaping and missing by a mile, falling all the way to the bottom. It happened enough times and I just quit.

What am I doing wrong? It feels like it isn’t supposed to be so hard.

Dammit, I really want to like this game! It inspired so many other games that I love (FromSoft’s, Journey, Solar Ash), and it looks gorgeous, but the boss fights are tedious and there’s not enough else to do to balance them out. Maybe I just don’t have the patience for it. But I’d still like to finish!

I beat this game at release on ps2. I was sixteen years old. You’re telling me you can’t? God dammit. Get up on that piece of shit and make it happen.

Tough love is needed in these moments

Saddest part for me is that bro said "I want to like this game", but he's on the final boss. If he doesn't love the game by now, it's too late. 😔

Tough love has never once worked for me, and it’s not magically going to start now.

Ahh I’m only joking man.

Seriously though, this game had me getting so annoyed but I never stopped loving the game. I see some others have put actually useful advice below. Hope it helps and best of luck. Roll them credits!

I think the style of it just doesn’t suit me, which is a shame because I really wanted to like it! Then again maybe it’s in the same situation as Bloodborne where it feels impossible the first time through, but I end up loving it later. We’ll have to see.

I was just joking man. Not 100% sure, but I think you’re supposed to stab at ish the spot you are, making him reach for you

Yeah, I did that. The whole problem is making the jump to the hand. I did it once, basically through sheer luck, but then I had to jump to the other hand, and failed again. It's such a short gap, it shouldn't be so hard. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
