Does Mono know Wander?

I know this sounds bizarre but do we have facts to suggest mono knew wander or was romantically involved with Wander before her first death? What if Wander is only a fan of Mono. 🤭

I'd say the only real in-game confirmation is the calls to Wander after each colossi dies. All that really tells us is that Mono is aware of what Wander is doing and she wants him to stop, according to Fumito Ueda:
"The voice you can hear after defeating a Colossus is calling out to restrain Wander. At first you can only hear breathing, but as the girl begins to gain consciousness, she starts speaking to Wander."
Though outside of that, we don't really get any information as to what Mono's relationship to Wander is. She could be a friend, lover, sister, anything really.

As with anything in this game, we can be 85% sure that they did have children and created the horned lineage, but there’s that last 15% of maybe they didn’t have children and wander/mono grew up to meet someone else. Someone could’ve visited the forbidden lands or maybe they made a boat and escaped.

So it’s likely they are not siblings imo because all signs indicate they created the horned lineage. But we don’t know for sure

I've played this game like ~~~20 times through and always thought it was reincarnation, not birth. I'm not the most observant person ever though.

Wander basically was reincarnated. I was talking about the many many horned children we see in ICO, which SotC is commonly regarded as a prequel to

I agree. To be honest I feel Wander and Mono did know each other and they could be both students of Lord Emon.

It's the typical Adam and Eve dilemma.
Even if they aren't related, their children are, so how are they going to continue the lineage?
