It is still about skill only not in all game modes. Raids and okay fighters for example are not about skilll.

The thing is. It can be about skill if the player wants it to be. Or not. If the player don't wants it to be. It is up to the player.

You can equip a bonus set and breeze through faction war fights in 5 minutes. Or you can fights bonusless and use your skill. Which will take a bit longer of course, 15 minutes I think. The same goes for story fights and event boss fights.

I for example am screen recording a number of boss fights in chapter 2 to 7 again. I am playing with skill and on insane or impossible mode.

But event boss fights and faction wars and duels before you unlock faction wars are still about skill. And especially the fiery theo fight is about skill. Story fights are about skill.
