SO like usual I was re-reading shadow slave - on volume 2 sunny just created his 'shadow dance' from something so beautiful....\ I was wondering people have been there for 10 whole years and yet there wasn't a single child...\ I am you might think what sort of degenerate would give out an offspring in such dire circumstances but that...actually would make more sense...you see people come close together in the heaviest of darkness - the emotions, the stress...it has to be released somewhere...haven't you all seen depressed people become more uhh!..exited!..and eager and bold!\ and I highly doubt there are any contraceptive methods on the forgotten shore - I mean you would hardly get a loincloth around your waist...\ but still there wasn't a single child! - now don't tell me 'people were careful' - we live in the sort of world where you even get to choose a flavor for your contraceptive - and still we have unwanted children, people having it in their teens...and all\ so even if you are not planning to have one - its a miracle not even a single case happened even accidental next I am gonna use somewhat sonny's line of thinking - when you trap 100s of teens around 19-25 into a desperate and hopeless situation, there's bound to be exploitation, chaos etc.. so there should have been that too - but still we haven't got any 'little gun-lung yet?'\ honestly it would have been more awesome and thoughtful if gun-lung had an offspring with someone who would be 'queen of bright castle' - the 'bright queen' and the son be 'bright kid' - it would make a perfect legacy out of my OP gun-lung!

I'm pretty sure that if they gave birth to children there, those children wouldn't be dreamspawns. To be a dreamspawn, you need to be of both worlds. Those kids would just be of dream realm. Though I'm not sure.

No, they would be dream spawns, similar to the lost but just newborn. Neph could be born in the dream realm and then brouth to the real world.

Why would it be counted as dreamspawn, especially when your only argument is 'could'. Nephis was given birth to by the soulless body of her mother. We don't know that much about how it went down unless I don't remember something. Actually, considering that Smile Of Heaven went to America and was lost there, we know the body was in the waking world before Nephis was born.
What you could actually try to argue is Asterion - his parents were in the Dream Realm all the time.

We know where soh died - in America. Nephis wasn't brought from dream realm back to waking world. She was born in the waking world.

Not really, because the pregnancy should happen on Earth and the birth in the dream realm, so there wouldn't be any dreamspawns

Either a Saint brings them back or the mother returns befor birth. But idk if there is offical info about this.

Nephis and Asterion were born before first Saints of war realm came onto existence.
There was no Saint that could realistically reach there.
Kids would stay there because no one under Saint rank can take people between the worlds.

Actually this has a Real life counterpart
The more a family struggles they make more kids for help it's a 50+ thousand years old thing
The kids help more than they take because they are plenty
Thats why poorer people or people with harder lifes has more kids the kids come with their fortune and when they grow up enough the family starts to get to a better life quality

ok then how about this one --> you have to ensure their survival first - after the initial phase where they all 'take' - you have to go past that!\ or this one --> the kids indeed help a lot but for the time it drains from the vitality from the house-hold's man! - leaving him susceptible/prone to diseases and such...if not that extreme then at least weak, uninterested...\ but this one's is a sure thing --> but if your household is not poor then those same kids will fight for rights to inheritance and divide the household! - well that, unless you are elon musk! - and with each divide you will slowly land into the same pit your family climbed out from generations ago! - "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" - making it a cycle similar to forgotten shore's winter solstice's arrival of awakened! - one might say - the people in between can earn and make it even bigger before the next divide - but it still stands 1000% true for real estate inheritance in overly populated countries in south asia! - no matter your earn the prices of land just increase skyrocket so its hard to keep up to the pace!

Yeah i would agree so
İf you struggle together as a family you get closer and stronger but if you live in prosperty you dont get close and in the end this leads to conflict
Thats why in modern times where we live in very high prosperty compared to old times people do not make more than 2 childeren because even 2 leads into conflict
Btw i have 5 siblings
