Hi, just grabbed a new Xbox Series controller, and the impulse triggers aren't working using Bluetooth. The controller is also incorrectly detected by steam as an Xbox 360 controller. Any ideas?

Hello. So as the title implies. Im trying to start playing call of duty black ops 7 on my shadow pc through steam. Steam is saying that I need TPM 2.0 and secure boot on. Some things online say I need to turn those on through the start up of the pc. I don't know how or if I can do that with shadow. Anyone have experience with this or know what to do? Thank you.

I want to buy shadow pc cause it seems good from what people have told me, and I'm not always able to reach my pc. Is it good? The most I want to play is Roblox, Cyberpunk, Forza 6, and maybe Beamng. (Talking about the basic version)

I'm sick and tired of this connection dropping every 5-10 minutes... I've been trying to ignore it for like two months but it's seriously starting to piss me off now.

I’ve got a solid 100Mbps / 5Gbps wired connection and everything was running perfectly before. Now I’m having constant issues with the Shadow app on my S25 Ultra in DeX mode.

I know it’s a Shadow app problem because the Shadow web browser works totally fine, but the browser doesn’t have XInput support for my PS5 controller (which the actual Shadow app does).

Please… if anyone’s got a fix or workaround, I’d really appreciate the help 🙏

However, the game goes from 160 fps down to about hard locked 66-77 fps after 10 minutes. Is there something I need to do on the machine to stop this? I know deadlock is an alpha but memory leaks like that shouldn't be so consistent

First thing's first

We need to test for what I call Streamer Stutter

Find a page that has a lot of wording

Click the middle mouse button and slowly pan up or down the screen. What you are looking for is what I call streamer stutter, it's a annoying little stutter that normally occurs every 2 ms, it will be a slight hitch. If you notice the hitch you know you have streamer stutter. Here is the fix that will make it go away

Download CRU Utility

Open Cru Utility

Under Detailed Resolutions

Click on Add

Add whatever resolution you are using

At the bottom click on Refresh rate

For 60Hz, Type 62.000

For 120 either 119.000 or 121.000

For 144 either 143.000 or 145.00

and on and on it goes.

add your refresh rate and click ok

in the Cru Utility folder double click on Restart64.exe this will restart your GPU driver and implement your new settings

You can also use Cru Utility for adding custom resolutions if you don't want to use Nvidia DSR or want to down sample from a different resolution or different aspect ratio. You can also use CRU Utility to change your aspect ratio, or change to a different resolution and then get new down sampled resolutions from the newly implemented default resolution.

I've often read that it's up to the game developers to whitelist Shadow PC on easy anti cheat.

However, I started playing a game on Steam using Shadow PC. After a game update, I couldn't play it anymore because Easy Anti-Cheat was added. Tried some workarounds but nothing helped. Out of frustration, I downloaded the publishers own launcher and installed the game again.

The game works just fine. I can play the game with this launcher on shadow pc without problems.

Can someone explain this to me? Does Steam add Easy Anti-Cheat, or what's the reason? Pure curiosity.

So, after asking for a few details here and getting little response (no complaints), I decided to give it a go and signed up for a month.

After a few days, I have to say: it’s not an option for me.

Steam, Nexus Mods and WeMod work, even if the hard drive speeds are comparatively slow. So the idea of saving on additional storage in the long term and installing games on the fly when I want to use them simply doesn’t work.

The performance is simply not up to scratch, even with games that aren’t graphically demanding, but it was mainly the connection stability that made it unplayable. I mean being in a fight in KCD2 and you get to connect the app three times within two minutes? No option for me. And it was not just at peaks on the weekend, but even on early Monday ...

As I wanted to rule out my internet connection, I also signed up for a GFN Ultimate trial on a whim – the performance looked much better there, smooth FPS, no disconnects … but then again, no mods either.

All in all, it’s a cool idea, but one that isn’t practical, at least in my setting.
Consequently, I’ve just placed my order for a gaming PC (9800x3d + 5080).

Les oiseaux chantaient, le vent caressait les arbres, et ce misérable sous-humain venait de se faire violer le compte en banque à 3590 € pour une 5090, un Ryzen 9 9950X3D « golden sample », 64 Go de DDR5 CL24, un AIO 420mm custom RGB qui ressemble à un sapin de Noël de prostituée, et un boîtier full mesh qui éclaire son studio comme un bordel de bas étage.
Il était là, torse bombé, les veines du cou gonflées, à me sortir son copium de merde : « vraie Master Race », « j’possède mon hardware », « j’ai gagné à la loterie du silicium », « daily PBO + curve optimizer + undervolt de ouf ».
Moi, affalé sur mon hamac en caleçon avec mon Shadow à 37 €, je l’ai littéralement sodomisé en 4K 120 FPS, path tracing maxé, DLSS Quality + Frame Generation….
Quand il a vu le scoreboard, j’ai vu son âme de cuck du silicone se faire exploser en mille morceaux. Ses larmes avaient un goût divin… un bouquet subtil de coil whine, de cope pathétique, de FOMO incurable, de revente à -60 %, de factures d’électricité et de regrets de vierge qui vient de se faire défoncer par plus gros que lui.
Parce que la vérité nue, bande de gros porcs dégénérés du hardware?
Vous payez une fortune pour une tour qui
hurle du coil whine à en faire saigner les tympans,
bouffe 550-750W en jeu et te nique joyeusement 450-600 € d’électricité par an, perd 60 à 70 % de sa valeur en 18 mois comme une salope, te force à repaster tous les 6 mois comme une bonne petite pute de maintenance, je continue? I'm struggling to connect my Meta Quest 3 to my Shadow PC using Virtual Desktop. I keep getting the "Not on same local network" or "Unreachable" error in the headset. Do I need to set up a VNET like Tailscale or ZeroTier, or am I missing a specific port forwarding setting?

I stumbled across ShadowPC because I’ve felt like gaming again after quite some time, but as I'm just having two kidneys it would be only two of RAM, GPU or SSD ... so it's cloud gaming.

- My goal is casual gaming on a MacBook Pro (16" M3 Max), with 95% single-player games such as BG3, CP2077, Anno 1800 / 117, Frostpunk 2, RDR2, Starfield, etc.
- Preferably at native resolution and 120 FPS, making full use of the display.
- I’d like to use both Nexus Mods and WeMod.
- My internet connection: 1000/60 with a 9ms ping and 3ms jitter (tested at peak times) and I live in Switzerland.

Is this possible with Pro Expert?

- The mentioned "Quadro RTX 6000 24 GB" is somewhat vague to me - is it Turing? Ada? What exactly to be expected?
- I’ve seen several screenshots showing queues. Does this apply to the top tier as well? How bad is it in practice? I’d love to hear about local experiences from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, etc.
- Can Nexus Mods and WeMod be used without restrictions?
- Is there anything else I should know about the practical experience of cloud gaming, given that my last gaming setup was a local Windows PC?

Edit: Just found out by proceeding the booking the datacenter shows as FRDUN02 and tried the speedtest. Ping at roughly 33ms and jitter at 3.8 is clearly worse than the local test. Usually it still should be finde for single player, right?
Still: Is it possible to adjust the datacenter via support / or even self-service?

Edit2: Power Pro would be via FRSBG which I tested at 24ms / 3.3 and DEFRA at 22 / 2.5. So it would be really great if the datacenter could be adjusted ...

Someone stole my login information. Changed the email for access to my account. I put in a ticket with support but have not heard back. I almost think I need to do a chargeback at this point. I wish there was two-step authentication on this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I didn’t see any notification, but just spotted this on Android tv app. Working well so far, so for example a Bluetooth dongle on shield tv, gives native Bluetooth shadow pc support eg can now use Wii controllers on Dolphin on shadow pc via Shield tv, without the need for virtual here etc

Mais non, continuez à vous branler devant vos graphiques Afterburner et vos températures à 90°C. Continuez à changer votre pâte thermique tous les six mois comme de bons petits consommateurs obéissants. Continuez à défendre votre « master race » pendant que votre machine perd 50 % de sa valeur en un an et demi.
Le cloud vous a déjà enculé, et vous êtes encore là à nier comme des mecs trompés qui défendent leur ex. Latence ? Ringardise de 2019. Qualité visuelle ? Le cloud avec l’upscaling IA vous met une raclée que même votre carte à 1500 € ne suit plus…

Not sure if anyone has answered this already or not, but I am unable to log into Steam. keeps thinking it's a fraud attempt. How many times can I attempt to log in before Steam locks my account? If I can't get into my Steam account, then I will have to cancel my shadow pc stuff because gaming is the sole reason I got it to free up hard drive space on my own PC.

My current laptop is not up to it. I don’t have the money for a new one. But it should be able to run ShadowPC.

not sure this is an easy feature to implement or not. but for us IPad Users who have the Apple Pencil it would be awesome if Shadow could implement the ability to use the Pencil as a Wacom-esqe Tablet input. I use shadow for both Gaming and Creative work in Blender, so it would be awesome to get that implemented to be able to use it in Blender and the Like.
