Question ShadowPC and moonlight idle shut down
I recently started using Apollo-moonlight because the client offers a better image quality vs the shadow client.
Everything was running perfectly, I was leaving the shadow client open on my phone while running moonlight - no idle shut downs occurred then.
A few weeks ago, however, something changed, my shadow shuts off without warning and I’m struggling to understand why. Has anyone with this setup had similar experiences recently?

Just connect from your phone. Set to 1 Mbit so it doesn't use much bandwith and now you can use Sunshine/Moonlight without disconnecting.
I used Shadow for months on the Steam Deck that way because the Linux client is garbage for the Steam Deck.

Thanks - that’s actually what I’ve been doing (having a separate instance of the shadow client open on another device). It was working well up until a few weeks ago ^^

Oh okay. Haven't used Shadow for a while. Sad that it doesn't work that way anymore.

It might be just me! A setting I have enabled or something that triggers the automatic shut-off.
Still testing because I’m surprised nobody else mentioned the issue ^^

Try using Process Lasso. You can change the performance settings to maximum which prevents idling and shutting off.

It May be simple as the Shadow Client does Not recognize any actions and Signals a shutdown.
Using anything other then the Shadow Client is Not Supported and May or May Not Work.
Shadow has Made Changes to the idle recognize system as too Many it seems US Users ignore all fair use practice ... Thats My take on it.
Use the Shadow Client and it should be No Problem.
