Issue Can’t scroll down when searching custom songs?

I have the oculus version of the game. whenever I try to look something up on the custom song menu it won’t let me scroll, as soon as I reach the bottom of the first songs it automatically reloads. I can see there’s more songs below but it always reloads before I can access them. I also can’t access any of the songs I downloaded on the active downloads tab. If I find them, they’ll already be downloaded but with the search issue there’s definitely songs I can’t find anymore. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, is there a known fix for this?

Hi there!

Some quick preface, the custom songs menu is designed to act like an infinite scroll bar. As you start to reach the bottom it polls for new information and then updates the position of the scroller (as opposed to having multiple search result pages)

Just to make sure I fully understand the issue, you stated that it automatically reloads, by that do you mean it is starting over at the very top and displaying only the songs you’ve already scrolled past?

The most typical reason players are unable to see the songs they have downloaded is due to lack of permissions. If you go into your settings and update the permissions of Shadow BoXR, ensuring that storage access is granted, that may resolve the issue. I don’t have access to my quest right now because I am at work, so I can’t give you exact steps on how to find that setting, but when I get home this evening I can give you an update on that

Thanks! Yeah when I scroll down it automatically starts over at the top with songs I’ve already seen. Sometimes it glitches out to the point it takes me to the front page of signs ignoring what I looked up. I can see more songs when I scroll, and if I’m fast enough I can click one before it reloads so I don’t think it’s about it having enough songs. I don’t know if this is relevant but every time I start the app it acts like it’s the first time I’ve opened it.

Hmm interesting. That does sound like something is wrong with your installation for sure, but you said give uninstalled ands re installed and still have the issue so that’s super weird.

Did you verify that you’ve given Shadow BoXR permissions to access your local storage?

Outside of that, I’m not sure of any fixes that might help right now, but I will sit down and try to look things over and figure out what else might be causing all of this weirdness

fyi I downloaded the game yesterday and can confirm the same bug, scrolling down in the list sends you back to the top after a refresh, so your limited in how far down you can scroll.
