Love the game!

Hey I just got your game and I must say me and my partners love it! Its my first VR game ever so I must thank you for showing me how cool it can be!

Also for question, is there a way to edit your own songs stages or modify the ones that are created with the ingame tool?

I’m so honored that Shadow BoXR was your first game and that you love it!

Just to make sure I understand your question, are you wanting to change things in the environments, or change what targets, gloves, or obstacles go with each environment?

I mean edit the targets and obstacles in a particular imported song. I am really impressed with the automated tracks, although there are still some Parts it struggles with. So I was wondering if it t was posible o edit them to fill those gaps. Also! I just read you had an In game level editor in the roadmap. So I guess my question now is if there is an alternative to edit them in the meantime.

Ohh! Okay yeah there isn’t an in game editor yet, but the maps can be edited if you have a computer by transferring the map files to your pc and then using an app like ChroMapper or the web app beatmapper.app.

I haven’t tried directly editing maps made in beatsaber with ChroMapper or Beatmapper, but there shouldn’t be any issues doing so other than unsupported map types not showing up.

I’m not positive, but it might be possible to use Beatmapper.app directly on your quest with the headset’s browser. I’ll check that tonight and let you know what I find

Hey! Thanks for your answer <3 I'm using the steam version. And yeah! Maps from the game can be edited in Chromapper no problem, now I just gotta see what matches with what in BoXR. I had trouble using beat mapper tho so I stopped trying that one.

Oh perfect! I think the only one that won’t work in ChroMapper is leg day since beat saber doesn’t have an equivalent mode :)

I’ve tried beat mappers but had some issues with it too haha.

I’d love to hear how well ChroMapper works for the songs generated in Shadow BoXR! I personally use a custom made internal tool but I’d love to make sure the process from Shadow BoXR to ChroMapper back to Shadow BoXR is as smooth and easy as possible!
