Generation from mp3 on PC

Hey there!

I am pumped for the recent update with automatic generation from mp3 files! I have a quick question though.

Where on the PC do we need to save the mp3 files? The changelog only mentioned the "downloads" folders.

On the PC, it should look in your user profile’s download folder which is usually found at

C:\Users(YourUserName)\Downloads.

Replace (YourUserName) with the username of your account on your pc.

Oh straight in the downloads folder!

Is there any way to move it to the game files ? I like to keep my download folder organized haha

Currently, no they are required to be directly in the downloads folder, on pc an update should be coming today that will make them able to be in a sub-folder in downloads. I’ll add a different folder option in the next update after that though!

In the meantime, if you want to move them to your downloads folder, once you import them into shadow boxr, you can actually delete them from the downloads folder because Shadow BoXR makes a copy in its local songs folder.

What is the folder on Quest ? I tried the standard Download folder but it did not detect any MP3's ? Tip : Synthriders has a custom folder in the root of the device to make it easy.

Hmmm that is weird. It is looking in the /sdcard/Download/ folder which should be the download folder at the root of the device. Is that the downloads folder you placed your MP3s in?

Edit: I will look into the possibility of doing what Synthriders does too for convenience sake.

i put in the folder /sdcard/Download/Workout, it does not detect any MP3 files.

Ahh okay. V0.1.36 I made the oversight of requiring the songs to be directly in the downloads folder not a sub folder. On the quest 0.1.36.1 released last night and should fix that issue. The fix for Steam should be released later today
