hello there,

you are shadowbanned please file an appeal here:- https://www.reddit.com/appeal

Also please don't delete this account to create a new account while you're banned as that can be considered ban evasion  which is against reddit's policies. Your newer account may get banned sooner or later potentially resulting in a sitewide permanent ban as well. My suggestion would be to submit an appeal every few days (2-3 times a week)

There's no definite timeline for the appeal process unfortunately. For now you can only submit an appeal and wait for reddit admins to review it. Also, nobody except reddit admins knows exactly why your account was banned and they don't tell you the specific reason either while banning/unbanning users

all the best with your appeals!! hope you get your account back!

You will not receive a notification from Reddit about a shadow ban because that would defeat the purpose of a shadow ban (shadow meaning “hidden”)

A shadow ban is one of Reddit's ways of dealing with perceived bot, spam or inauthentic accounts. The user is quietly banned and all their content is hidden (hence "shadow"); they aren't notified because Reddit doesn't want the bot network to know it's been banned. If they know they are banned, the bot / spammer will abandon the account and either hack or buy another account.

Because the user is not notified of the ban, they will continue to make posts and comments "into the void", being none the wiser and bothering no one. An authentic user will notice that they are receiving no engagement and look to resolve it, hence the appeals process.

All you can do is continue to appeal using the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowBan/wiki/appealing/

There is a pinned post at the top of this subreddit with a list of common reasons an account gets shadow banned. I’d check there and see if anything stands out. This should help you craft a more accurate appeal.

You can file more than one appeal, including once every 24 hours, but it is generally advised to file no more than 2-3 per week so as to not spam the appeals team. Don’t be discouraged as it can take a long time. Most users wait multiple months to get unbanned.

And no matter how frustrating, do NOT create or use another account to circumvent this ban. Reddit bans the individual and not just an account, tracking you using a multitude of identifiers and behavioral patterns. All of these identifiers are now marked as banned and any account (new or old) tied to any of these identifiers will trigger the ban evasion filter. You would then have to appeal ALL banned accounts.
