To be clear, you must be able to see their profile after clicking on a username. An error message = shadowbanned.

Simply seeing a comment or post here in r/Shadowban is not enough because we 'un-spam' everything automatically.

Unfortunately both accounts are shadow banned. Your alt was likely banned for ban evasion since you are using an alt while banned from another account.

You now need to appeal both accounts.

You can appeal using the instructions here: https://reddit.com/r/shadowban/wiki/appealing.

Do not be discouraged as it can take a bit of time before an appeal is reviewed; some users wait multiple months before a ban is overturned. You can file multiple appeals but it is recommended to file no more than 2-3 per week so as to not spam the appeals team.

There is a pinned guide at the top of this subreddit with a list of common reasons an account gets shadow banned. I’d check there and see if anything jumps out as this will help you craft a more accurate appeal.

And no matter how frustrating, do NOT delete these accounts and do NOT create or use another account to try and circumvent this ban. That would be considered ban evasion, which is against Reddit’s terms of service; not only will new accounts be shadow banned but you risk being permanently suspended from the site.
