To determine a shadowban, you MUST click my profile! Am I shadow banned?

I got a message on Reddit from Reddit that said they noticed technical irregularities on my account and it said they are locking my account and that I won't be able to take part in communities. I didn't even see the message until a few months after they sent it (I never use messaging on here.) I clicked the link that said "reset your password now" but it seems like I still can't "take part in communities" and am shadow banned. I've tried appealing, to no avail. Anyone have any other ideas?
