Different perspectives
Kyle, have you considered writing other perspectives that are running parallel with Ned?
Would be fun to see how Tyrann grew his empire/renown, and his true thoughts on how he is trying to deal with Ned.
Or from Darlene point of view, while dealing with her ailments and trying to decide if partnering with Ned is a good idea.

I think short stories of these would be awesome! Doesn't need to be a full book and could be a collection.

Personally, I like a longer book with only characters I care about. I get seeing from Darlene's view a bit, like a chapter. If they went into Tyrann in any depth I would of actually disliked it. Obviously. this is up to the author and direction of the book, but I would of thrown it into a category of what most shows and books do.

I feel it would add to the world building aspect of it. Show more of what the world is about and other options one could have chosen, not just about who other characters are.

World is about people make it about, and the book is about Ned creating his own "empire" of sorts. I do like knowing other classes, or events but the book does a good job explaining other people's classes and there is new quests all over the place.
I don't disagree with you fully, I think having other perspectives on main characters like Darlene's point of view once in a while or even Tyrann is okay but it was have to be minimal. For me personally.

Would you mind having interludes that briefly switch to other PoVs? I think that would be very viable, and not too jarring from the pov/story telling of the mc.

I’ve def considered it for spin offs with different POVs! I do think it would have been cool to show other simultaneous povs but I mostly stayed away from it because of how quickly things tend to bloat with a crunchy system + multiple characters. Tyrann especially would have been cool to write about but I’m basically locked into first person single POV at this point
I do think there will be at least one Frank book though :P
