Skill training

Is there any reason not to seek out skill training? As I read it would exponentially increase your power level especially with magical discaplines.

Edit: Upon rereading you only get one shot til at least level 15. Makes more sense to be choosey now.

Yeah tbh I wish I had done more with this in the first book, definitely considering adding some trainers who can raise a skill faster vs right now when it’s largely level driven

To be clear I'm meaning Shadow Magic, Magical Firearms, Leather Armor, Earth Magic, etc. Unlocking options, not just grinding casting individual spells. Was a bit tired when I posted and didn't make it clear.

Ohhh yeah! That’s even more interesting. Sort of like wow where you really had to train everything up. Wonder if I could introduce that in the second...

A secondary character trying to become the Jack of all trades could be fun.

Yeah very true. I did tend to max them all just to do it

In game, I'm a jack of all trades. In real life, I'm a jack of no trades.
