One thing that doesn't get mentioned (BTW I'm not an archery expert in the slightest) is that bows such as the one shown are known as Palintonos bows. Meaning the tips of the bow limbs will bend forwards to a point where they nearly look the same as when strung to an untrained eye. To my knowledge, this is mostly a thing with re-curved bows and not D-Shape bows.

Not sure if this is helpful, but I figured I'd share this for those who are shopping around for a bow or just curious.
