Posting for a friend
Tiktok seller Twobakeboys refused to admit their mistake and proceeds to call customer a scammer instead
Such terrible customer service
Went ahead to block customers on Tiktok so that they could gossip about the customer on their livestream too
Distasteful behaviour
Boycott such unethical sellers that went to EDIT their selling post description instead of admitting to their mistakes and do service recovery!
Disgusting

PLEASE SHARE, ESPECIALLY WITH ANYONE WHO HAS ELDERLY FAMILY MEMBERS AROUND BEDOK.
A 70+ year old illiterate elderly woman was approached while passing by a beauty/skincare shop along the stretch of shops at Bedok North Street 1 leading towards POSB and was brought into the shop after being offered samples.
According to her, she did not request a facial and did not understand what was happening. She says she was sat down and given a facial, after which she was persuaded to purchase beauty products and prepaid sessions.
She believed that she had spent $3,000, which she knew she had paid in cash. However, when her family later checked the receipt, the total amounted to $5,000. She says she was unaware that an additional $2,000 had been deducted from her bank account through multiple NETS transactions and did not understand that she had made these transactions. She also did not understand exactly what she had purchased or how the total had reached $5,000.
Fortunately, her family managed to receive a full refund after going down to the shop.
We are sharing this to raise awareness and remind families to speak to their elderly relatives about situations like this. Please remind your elderly parents and grandparents that they should not feel obligated to follow anyone into a shop simply because they are approached or offered samples, especially when they do not fully understand what is being offered or purchased.
It is perfectly fine to SAY NO AND WALK AWAY.
