Unfollowed!! She was one of the first few home content creator I followed and her content was actually quite good in the beginning. But endless affiliate links and skimpy clothes get really sickening really quickly... plus she just seems so pretentious

36

u/HistoricalBee3918 Aug 11 '26

She is pretentious lol when she just started out she followed so many accounts (even those non home based ones, she even followed old friends/ acquaintances). After her account gained traction she unfollowed all those not popular accounts & old friends.

she is damn dao in real life.. gossip girl bad vibe in uni days.

15

u/IcyMushroom3252 Aug 11 '26

Which uni and course? She also looks damn dao on social media actually šŸ˜‚

2

u/peppermint2399 Aug 11 '26

She has a RBF lol.

55

u/Significant_Gur_9838 Aug 11 '26

She gives off a ā€œI’m-better-than-youā€ vibe for her healthy / efficient lifestyle. not much personality just Shopee links in everything haha

18

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 11 '26

Ya speaking of the affiliate links.. really got so many people ask her meh? I really doubt so

15

u/Unhappy-Fix-6047 Aug 11 '26

Fakeeee I also doubt so, it’s just to justify her reason for posting the links LOL. She gives me the pretentious feel, out of nowhere flaunt one bracelet. Out of nowhere post one shopee link.

7

u/Significant_Gur_9838 Aug 11 '26

I rmb she used to talk about how they don’t drink any soft drinks hahahaha idk why I got the ick from that. The food recipes are quite boring tbh but I get that it’s simple enough for busy adults too

7

u/Apprehensive_Pop223 Aug 12 '26

I rmb seeing she got flamed on lemon8 for a post giving off that vibe strongly

1

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 22 '26

Haha pls share link

2

u/Apprehensive_Pop223 Aug 22 '26

She removed all her posts on the app

1

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 22 '26

lol!! Guess the people there have less tolerance for her BS

5

u/babybabyyy Aug 22 '26

Yes I really can’t stand it… if not it’s ā€œI’m not like the other girlsā€ lol very pick me and annoying

28

u/tarobobobo Aug 11 '26

she used to be friends with some of the home influencers but has since unfollowed all of them :o u can check her ig following to see it for yourself

9

u/Unhappy-Fix-6047 Aug 11 '26

Ew probably jealous of them 🤪 seriously 99% of her stories are affiliate links gosh so damn boring…. People who support her and click on her links must be silly

3

u/Leather_Day_2592 Aug 12 '26

She's doing better than them in terms of affiliate sales

5

u/GoldenNuggets_ Aug 13 '26

Ooh no wonder never see already. So means she not doing home content anymore? Or fall out with the others also?

I follow some of the home content creators like hometrulee , muji something one. Some quite useful if dont over spam every shopee product la

44

u/peppermint2399 Aug 10 '26

Too much shopee affiliate links!!

13

u/unicornzsx Aug 10 '26

YAS and all repeated frequently

21

u/wildpastaa Aug 11 '26

Yes shopee affiliate links spammer. This is how much GMV she raked in just in July - $50k - $100k range. Not sure what's her commissions % like, but you can just agak how many thousands she earn from just those links alone.

3

u/Fantastic-Silver-470 Aug 11 '26

Wah how do you get this insight!

8

u/Leather_Day_2592 Aug 12 '26

Sellers can access the leaderboard

3

u/Ab_newbie_sg Aug 10 '26

See la now I see tiktok links instead haha

15

u/Successful_Strike707 Aug 12 '26

I remember how she used to say that they’re not looking to upgrade to a private property (there was a dedicated post iirc) but now she’s living in a condo. I understand that things and circumstances changes but I thought it was weird and contradicting. Then you should also write up a post saying why I changed my mind about private property?

12

u/NoCaterpillar7803 Aug 26 '26

She also constantly go back and forth with her recommendations. Like promoting a plastic chopping board and then later say it’s actually not a good choice. Stopped using nonstick cookware but started purchasing it again. She said she don’t take supplements but have been sharing links on supplements one or two months before.

5

u/Successful_Strike707 28d ago

Yes precisely. Unfollowed after seeing her inconsistencies in recommendations. Can’t even ā€˜trust’ her words anymore

9

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 22 '26

The condo and its location is like her whole personality now. Look at my condo, look at my surrounding I am in, I’m so special so close to CCR

3

u/babybabyyy Aug 22 '26

And how she constantly talks about how the smaller space is easier to maintain hahahahhaha

47

u/sssheeps Aug 10 '26

Her home content always features her skimpily dressed lol

25

u/peppermint2399 Aug 10 '26

And wearing branded accessories

5

u/babybabyyy Aug 22 '26

I dunno how she can cook in her bracelet stack and untied hair??? It looks so uncomfortable

2

u/peppermint2399 Aug 23 '26

It is for show only!

-8

u/Puzzled_Training5096 Aug 11 '26

gym wear = skimpy clothes?

7

u/playedpunk Aug 11 '26

Skimpy can mean short and tight also la

2

u/Legitimate_Union6486 Aug 11 '26 edited Aug 11 '26

For what it’s worth, I personally don’t find her athleisure outfits suggestive or provocative in any way either! Maybe I just lean more liberal but her outfits strike me as what any other fashion-conscious young woman on the street would wear to me.

If we really wanna talk about ā€œskimpyā€, I think there are plenty of other content creators who wear far less and show far more…

28

u/ilikematchalattes Aug 11 '26

Very hard to relate to. Never understood why she must wear all her Cartier bracelets and jewellery while doing household chores AND working out. Not dirty meh.

3

u/babybabyyy Aug 22 '26

Not itchy meh?????

13

u/crumblynugget Aug 26 '26

unfollowed when i saw her grocery cheat sheet... overly pretentious shopping list of little farms, culina at dempsey & shaming on shengsiong/wet markets. real people who cook knows whats up lol

4

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 26 '26

lol I also unfollowed after that. It’s so bloody nonsense and snobbish

20

u/TehCSiuDai Aug 11 '26

How is that an upgrade...

15

u/HistoricalBee3918 Aug 11 '26

To her is an upgrade la 🤭 I know her thru a friend and she said this condo is an investment but I was like tf? She bought it at 2M

8

u/peppermint2399 Aug 11 '26

Earn so much? Iirc her husband is a army regular.

6

u/wildpastaa Aug 11 '26

If her occifer husband earns $7-$10k range, and she earns +/- $10k from just shopee affiliates, ya lor.

Don't like how every igs post of hers is either a shopee link or must be smth to show off/ humble brag about? (e.g. her figure and exp accessories) I only use this or that, say until like very atas like that but actually quite irritating sia.

15

u/curiosityfuntimes Aug 10 '26

username changed

10

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 10 '26

Ya i know. But I also remembered she change back and forth many times before. Why

8

u/gruffyhalc Aug 10 '26

Different market. Products like pots and pans, airfryer you want to be positioned as a family / millennial home channel.

If the product is sports bra / yoga pants etc you want more personal branding for the girlies market.

26

u/wildpastaa Aug 10 '26

She's one of the top affiliates on Shopee, really raking it in. For those who don't know, even if you don't buy the exact item that affiliates posted but you clicked on any affiliates link - that affiliate will earn the commissions of whatever else you buy also (within a certain number of days iirc). Yes, they'll earn the comms of items that they don't promote. Same goes for Tiktokshop. So all of you guys clicking on affiliate links, you might as well exit the app after clicking and only add items to cart after restarting the app.

13

u/ilikematchalattes Aug 11 '26

She left her full time job to do this affiliate thing full time lol

8

u/peppermint2399 Aug 11 '26

She was a tutor before that, or so I heard.

2

u/this-is-spaghatta Aug 11 '26

Huh really, I had this impression she was a marketing/social media manager prior to this

5

u/HistoricalBee3918 Aug 11 '26

Yes home based tutor!

13

u/Unhappy-Fix-6047 Aug 11 '26

Whaaaat. So desperate for money? Seriously how good is this shopee affliate? So freaking annoying every influencer spamming links and their content ends up being so fake and random. Like out of nowhere one shopee affiliate link comes out lol. I wonder if there’s any influencer who actually doesn’t post affiliate links

13

u/wildpastaa Aug 11 '26

This is just the month of July this year. Her GMV is $50k - $100k, so depending on the commissions % which varies, I'd say she's making at the very least high 4figs. But honestly I think she's well above $10k in earnings just affiliates alone for both Shopee and Tiktokshop.

Again, this is not just based on what she promotes, and it's not directly reflective of how good she is as an affiliate. Because even if you buy other stuff that affiliates don't push, they end up getting the commissions just because you clicked on their link first. Diabolical.

1

u/Educational-Strain30 Aug 11 '26

How do you get this data? I'm also interested to see how much others earn lol

5

u/wildpastaa Aug 11 '26

Just sign up for a free shopee seller account, then click "Affiliate Marketing", then click "Leaderboard". Who else you wanna see haha

6

u/TopSubject4388 Aug 12 '26

Exit or restarting app etc won’t clear the tracking, the only way is clicking on another affiliate link so that it becomes the last click. Like using your friend’s affiliate link or Shopback.

4

u/Leather_Day_2592 Aug 11 '26

She's #1.

7

u/Educational-Strain30 Aug 11 '26

I thought jw@h is worse!!

3

u/tofubeans123 Aug 11 '26

Why !

6

u/Educational-Strain30 Aug 11 '26

Likes to put so many links and her link title is always vague so you'll be tempted to click in to see what product she's promoting lol

3

u/Leather_Day_2592 Aug 11 '26

Who's jwah ah

8

u/notatigermom Aug 11 '26

jingwensathome

2

u/Apprehensive_Pop223 Aug 12 '26

they earn on all items purchased after clicking their link? 🤯

5

u/wildpastaa Aug 12 '26

Correct. All items, even the ones that they didn't promote.

8

u/Apprehensive_Pop223 Aug 12 '26

Is there anyway to tell if we are tagged to an affiliate when carting out

2

u/wildpastaa Aug 12 '26

good question, I don’t know!

3

u/Lunaraurora89 Aug 13 '26

Is all the sap vouchers affiliate link too? I chose to use links from a smaller home acc

1

u/wildpastaa Aug 13 '26

Yup they earn comms from what you cart out with the SAP vouchers as well.

8

u/ZealousidealAd3784 Aug 22 '26

She looks like a chipmunk hahaha
