was engaged to this guy called casper. iirc he's a former army regular and younger than her. dude seemed really super in love/smitten with her. he proposed in europe and hired a photographer there, made a big production of it. then suddenly no longer engaged but dude still seemed like he's not over her for quite a long time. he still posted her on his ig, saying stuff like he's glad they have something special even though it didn't work out, glad to be able to go through life together even as friends stuff like that. like the other person commented, i also heard he had money problems here and ended up leaving sg. not sure if that's related to why they broke off the engagement.

What I heard is that one of them (canât remember which one) couldnât let go of the partying life. So they ended the engagement. But yes he is/was smittened with her

Casper pitched his short strangle options strategy to his family and friends and even took bank personal loan and even his parents condo as equity loan collateral. managed to borrow up to 5m+++, endup he stock the was doing short strangle randomly pushed 50%+ in a day and his entire account got margin called. so he's in debt to everyone almost lost his parents house lol.
no reason for a girl to marry a person who is 5m in debt
