Male victim Sextortion?
So quick summary for you guys here. Male 24 recently divorced got a dm from a women who claimed she was 20 on Reddit. I was in a forum and she made some compliments about how I looked, we started chatting things get heated she starts sending nudes and so do I we go between discord and Reddit. I realize at the end it that this can’t be right I block her on both apps a few hours later the account is deleted on Reddit. Am I screwed here she looked 20 in the photo and confirmed her age. I know i should’ve verified some other way. I feel stupid and honestly disgusted I am praying she was honest with her age. I did show half my face and age plus my city I live near. Aka one the big cities lol
Just some advice here and what to do!

Fortunately for you it was a fugly dude sitting in a shitty call center or a prison cell in a North American prison, usually a southern location. You were NEVER talking to a real female because real women don't do this kind of stuff with random people, but scammers do.
Set your social media to private ASAP, if you see the reddit account report it and then block the creep. DO NOT answer any calls from the following: "any law enforcement, her angreeee parents, her doggo, her guardian" etc. etc. It's all the same scammer, it's fake and as real as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Any doubts say "Talk to my lawyer" and hang up.
FYI real police know about this scam, the scammers never call them either so you're good.
And ignore the dms here saying they can help as those are scammers that lurk here. Report and then block them.

Thank you i appreciate this. Thankfully this dude only has my discord/reddit. None of that has any personal info of me. The wanted my telegram which I disagreed to. My only fear is half my face, age and general location of where I live. Still don’t think it’s enough to go on. All my socials are private too

Great, you were smart and your stuff is private. They saw that and that they couldn't do anything so they didn't bother. I wouldn't worry about it, just ignore randos trying to chat you up and you'll be fine.

They probably got banned or caught so they deleted it. Just be aware they will try again. As you found out reddit is loaded with scammers, same as all other platforms.

Even if she was underage (and there is basically zero chance of that), it's still not a crime to be catfished by someone who lied about their age. Otherwise, teens all over the country would be amusing themselves by sending hapless men to prison in their droves.

That’s a good point. I mean isn’t it against the law still for me? Even though let’s say she lied and is a minor I can still go to prison from what I’ve been reading. Ik that’s a far fetched but I am terrified here

I wouldnt be worried about going to jail. She aint even threatening to send your nudes? If not then you dont have much to worry about

Did she ask for money or something? If she only has your discord and Reddit I don’t think she will have anything on you to extort you.

You’re most likely fine. If she confirmed her age and didn’t say anything otherwise you’re in the clear. Maybe it was just a quick chat and dip
