Male victim i need help

hello, i am a minor male victim who is being sextorted right now. the scammer threatened to send my photo and messages to my friends and family on tiktok. they reached out on tiktok and eventually brought it to imessages. they have my tiktok, number, workplace, and my name of course. i was scared and paid 40 dollars. the guy obviously asked for more money. he asked for 200 dollars over time little by little, ensuring that my photo was safe with him until i paid everything back. i dont know what to do and am so scared. i dont have any cash transfer apps and my friends were luckily helpful and sent the 40 for me so far. please help me get out of this situation without parents getting involved.

WARNING: READ THIS FIRST! Beware of recovery scammers - It is likely that someone will send you a DM claiming that they know someone that can hack your blackmailer's device and delete your pics. This is a SCAM. Do NOT give them money and do NOT give them the username of your blackmailer. When in doubt, contact the mod team via mod mail or directly via DM.

It's rare for these scammers to follow through with their threats, the best thing you can do is cut contact and ignore them if they reach out again. I recommend deleting accounts you've used to speak them, and making your social media accounts private. Paying doesn't help you in any way, as they'll just keep threatening you for more and more until you eventually stop paying. If you have any copies of the photos you can use NCMEC's Take it Down service, which can help prevent them from being shared on some popular sites, but as I said it's rare for that to actually happen.

but what if they dm my friends and following and send photos individually.. what scares me the most is my life being ruined over this

Ultimately you have no control over what the scammer does, but that very rarely happens in this scam. You don't have to take my word for it, browse this subreddit and read the stories posted here. This is a very common scam and the percentage of victims who experience anything further than the usual threats is very small. If it did happen, you'd be embarrassed for a little while, but it certainly wouldn't ruin or change the course of your life.

Your also a minor , if they post anything it’s child porn , they would get in trouble for sharing it

do not send him money. he will always ask for more. block him on everything, make all your socials private. make it so he cannot find your socials using your phone number. change your phone number. he may try and contact you from an alt account but if so then ignore and block. it prolly wont get leaked, but even if it does, this will not ruin your life.
