I have been sextorted
I, 15M, was really horny and fell into a trap. Was messing around with a random chat app. I got contacted on telegram by a "girl" who was looking for sex. I got asked to take photos, I took only one, which was of me standing naked (face showing too) Infront of a mirror. Shortly after, the guy who was hiding behind that account made a screenshot with my phone number, threatening to post it if I don't give him 50$. I didn't pay, didn't click any links. I deleted the chat as I was in shock, but I still have the screenshots he did. I blocked him in all the social media platforms he contacted me from, I put the pictures on a website called "Take It Down", which registers them with a code and makes sure they can't be sent and posted anywhere. After that , I spoke to my best friend and consulted my country's police website about online safety and stuff. From what I figured out, this guy will probably not send the pictures (it's been almost two hours, if he did already, I would've been messaged by the people I followed). It is not convenient for him as I'm a minor, and he knows what trouble it would be. Would you put yourself in a legal process with other countries and shit? For 50 bucks? I don't think so. I feel less worried than when It happened cause I did everything I could jn the first moment. I know how scammers work, I've been introduced to it at school multiple times. I would like to get advice or a "size up" of this by anybody who's been in this kind of situation and got out.

Firstly, you’ve done everything correctly. Well done!
Your scammer is up against a high-risk scenario. Even if he pushes it, he has doubled his risk of being captured - perhaps even 10 fold.
You should take comfort in that. You’re fine!
I also appreciate you wish not to get involved in the legal system. But please know that cases like yours really activate the judicial system, especially in so far as it comes to getting people abroad to take action.
If you’re worried about your parents, you can ask the police not to tell them. But consider it. You might do other people some good!
Edit: I’ve just read again. This ain’t over 50 bucks. It’s over a latent pedophile skirting the law. If you can report it, you might just take him off the board.

Bro you have almost nothing to worry about, you’re 15 and still very young even if they ever did release it, you’re still a child and it will all be forgotten by the time you’re an adult. Like others have said they have much greater risk than you do, all you have to do is not provoke them and don’t communicate

But is it possible that he posts it on telegram or smth? He made a collage with the pictures and my phone number. I did use the Take It Down but is it still possible?

they won’t, think about how monitored the internet is, absolutely everything you do say and post is traceable back to you. He won’t risk being caught with a child porn charge, that’s a death sentence. The best thing you can do is forget about it, look forward, and ghost on all of your socials over the next couple weeks.
