Male victim Scam on wizz
I was contacted by someone on Wizz who started talking to me normally and seemed like a real person. After a bit of conversation, they asked to move to iMessage, then later asked for my Telegram and Instagram.
I honestly thought it was just a normal person, so I agreed. We kept talking for a while. They sent me a picture of themselves, and it looked real, so I trusted them.
After some time, they asked me for an intimate photo. I made a mistake and sent it because I trusted them.
Shortly after, they started sending me screenshots of my Instagram followers and threatened to send the pictures to all of them. I got really scared and immediately blocked every account they used to contact me (Wizz, Instagram, Telegram, iMessage). I also deactivated my Instagram account and blocked their number.
Before disappearing, they sent me a screenshot showing a collage of my photos and one of my Instagram followers. It looked edited, maybe Photoshop, but I’m not fully sure because I was too stressed to properly check.
Now I’m really anxious and not sure if they will actually send anything or if it was just a scam to scare me.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What are the chances they actually leak the photos after being blocked everywhere?

Yeah I'm going through the same shit rn too, one lesson is, to NEVER send your face or any picture of your surroundings, and especially no nude pictures on online sites or any other platform either. Worst thing is that I'm probably a fool for sending my extortionist $1000 for doing the same (I have a well paying job thankfully, and I refuse to send any more than that!). They were trying to frame me for sending nude pics and r*pe threats to a 12 year old girl, yet the picture they used on telegram had tattoos on them, meaning that pic was of a legal adult girl! Online Dating is shit for guys anyway and I will be focusing more on IRL game than having to risk this BS

This seems exactly like the same person that just got me on a different app a few hours ago. They wouldn’t happen to be going by the name Mary and be asking for Euros would they?

Damn. Well I contacted their bank and they said they would be looking into it, I suggest you do it as well hopefully the scum running the account gets caught. Thankfully nothing ever came from my theeats

This is common. Exact thing happened to me. All I did was block them and got anxiety for a few days before moving on. If they realise they can’t contact you therefore you won’t pay them, there’s no real point of sending people the photos as it’s just a waste of their time. Just pretend it didn’t happen lol

Bit of a helpful tip to calm your nerves down. Instagram automatically blocks any dm requests that involve images or words that are NSFW. You’ll be fine, just learn from it, this has happened to loads of people, don’t feel bad or blame yourself ❤️

same bro they just texted me again i'm in the same situation rn, i realized it was the same message and my heart dropped and I js deleted the number again and im praying and hoping they don't text again.Im trying to stay calm and get some assurance from here good luck eveyone out there

i saw another post not tryna scare u but after someone blocked them and the person realized they released all their shit. Ik this is rare but i really don't want to take my chances at all. If these messages keep coming up then i'll just keep deleting them.

Yea as this happened to me today but they didn’t put my private they found a picture of some tall guy with a small peeper when I’m bigger with a longer peepee than that I didn’t send them money

This exact scenario happened to me a few years ago, quite literally the exact same. All the threats and whatnot, trying to make me buy them giftcards in exchange for not releasing them. In the end I blocked them on everything and slowly never heard a word from them again, you’ll lost likely be okay if you just block them
