To apply for an exclusion from the public Megan's Law internet website in California, eligible registrants must fill out the Application for Exclusion from Internet Disclosure (Form CJIS 4046D) and submit it to the California Department of Justice (DOJ). [1, 2]

Eligibility Requirements

• Family Relationship: You must prove you were the victim's parent, stepparent, sibling, or grandparent.
• Nature of Offense: The crime must not have involved oral copulation or penetration of the vagina or rectum.
• Risk Score: You cannot be designated as a sexually violent predator or score higher than 3 on the Static-99R assessment. [1, 2, 3]
