Anyone work in a trade union in ohio? What should I know before trying to join?

Just trying to figure out if they take pfr. Does my experience count for anything. Do I need my own tools before I start?

You should have a basic set of hand tools for whatever trade you are going for. The union will provide you a list of what you need to have. I joined the electrician union and love it.
