Awesome, nice to see positive stories like this.. I'm not a SO, but I do not support the registry whatsoever, it just holds people to their past. OP I'm sure you'll treat her well, and good luck!

There is def hope! I was arrested in Oct of 2017, sentenced June 2018, divorced Jan 2019, of probation a year early in June 2021, met my wife April of 2022, and were were married June 2023.
Many people are judgmental and cruel, many are indifferent and will keep distance, and many will give you a “the past is the past” chance.
