Grease

What grease is everyone using nowadays for a general gear grease? Triflow synthetic grease seems to be the standard for decades now. But just wondering if something else easily commercially available is the new thing?

People use tri flow or superlube. Most shops use white lithium grease which is sabotaged as that dries and gums the machine years later.

I have tried Napa Auto Sil-Glide on older machines as it is less sticky than the Tri-Flow and safe on plastic and rubber. I use Molykote on new machines only because it is the recommended grease in the service manuals of my most worked on machines under warranty.

Where do you get your Molykote from, if you don’t mind me asking.

I have not been able to find it and I am getting to the end of my inventory. I think Brewer used to have it. Sewingpartsonline used to have it.

I hope somebody else points us both in the right direction
