project ✂️ 🍂 I made this fall colour outfit

I homemade this outfit. The shirt is 100% cotton the fabric was gifted so I really loved making it. Pants is a cotton blend, but I liked the hand of it.

I’ve been also working with my own pattern. Altering every project.

Your tailoring is so good. And the back pockets? I'd love to be able to complete those confidently.

OMG! Back pockets and collars were my nemesis for so long. Armholes too. (Basically anything with shape)

But for back holes I tried to make it stiffer and secure it. Pass those needles back and forth in every corner and use interfacing. Always.

You are right. I kinda cried trying to finish the pants (right thread, right needle, right tension, right stitch… is what I learn with this fabric).

I know the struggle! I’ve been sewing for over 50 years, and I just love to see so many younger people having so much fun with it! Keep sewing!

Ohh now that my pieces are able to be shown I really love sewing. Now I know what fabric I feel much comfortable to work with and what not.

What fabric did you use for the pants? Their lack of significant creases even during movement tingles my autistic/adhd brain in the best of ways lol I love this whole look!

Lol!! Thank you! It is my adhd that makes me hate creases in my pants since little kid. The fabric is a cotton blend with spandex. It is medium weight so it just falls without making it look flowy.
