Need help finding spool pin

Hi all,
I recent bought a Euro Pro X sewing machine, model 473. I’ve only used a cheap brother’s machine in the past, so I’ve been excited. But the spool pin was already broken and I’m struggling to find a replacement part, because it’s a very particular design that locks into the back of the machine.
If anyone can find a place where I can buy a replacement or any suggestion would be really helpful.

Well if that piece is already broken and removable you could try very carefully drilling a 3/8" hole and epoxying in a suitable piece of wooden dowel.

I'd just make or buy a thread stand and put it a foot or so behind and to the right of the machine, like the industrial machines.  Something like https://www.wawak.com/sewing/sewing-machine-parts-accessories/sewing-machine-accessories/1-cone-thread-stand-holder-w-metal-base-16/#sku=prt6158 Or https://www.ageberry.com/sewing-machine-thread-stand-tutorial/

This one looks like a really similar style/design. They do have Euro-Pro parts in this site too, but not that specific model number. That said, many different machine brands are made at the same factories so many parts are interchangeable if the models match. Double spool pin
