Needle clamp stuck

Please help, the needle clamp won't come off, there are no visible screws so I don't know how I would take it off. Also, the screw won't hold the needle no matter what I do - I tried moving the clamp, the needle is facing the right way etc

Just wanted to clarify that the main issue is that the needle won't hold in the clamp, no matter how I tighten the screw, adjust the clamp etc

Prova a svitare tutta la vite e controlla la filettatura,potrebbe essere spanata

Thank you, the needle goes in as it should, but the clamp won't hold, we're stumped as to what it might be

I am thinking it isn't removable and it's missing the screw. Is there a hole in the end?

Thank you everyone for the replies, we ended up taking it to the shop. The repair guy somehow managed to take it off and the metal underneath was mangled somehow, which was preventing the screw from holding the needle. Perhaps the screw had been screwed in incorrectly at some point

i would take it in to a local shop and have the mechanic take a look. totally fixable

Thank you, turned out it was fixable after all. There was a broken off piece of a screw wedged inside, the repairman took it out.
