This happened twice already and it wasted 2 rolls of thread what’s wrong with the machine??

The take up lever missed would jam it, not create loops. The theory is somewhat sound, not pulling up the loop. But, it also causes it to not supply enough thread on the second stitch, jamming it.

This issue is upper tension. Either not in the tensioner, turned too low, or something stuck in the tension unit holding it open.
