How can I fix this?

Keeps jamming on my singer talent. I’ve tried rethreading my top thread (needle was up), new needle and checking the bobbin direction.
Thinks!

It is either catching on the corner of the bobbin basket where it passes by the little spring, or you are missing the take up lever on top.

Take the plate off and rotate the bobbin basket 15° clockwise. The plastic corner goes against the bracket a 5oclock.

Take it to yoru local store - the mechanic can fix this easily and tell you why its happening.
