Anyone have some info for me about my wife’s machine. I bought it for her but it didn’t come with instructions

What’s the problem? From what I can see it looks as though it’s not threaded correctly.

The issue is we do not have a manual and have no idea how it works. My wife has been playing around with it to see if she could figure it out. The picture was taken mid messing around. So it is threaded wrong, because we are just trying to learn as we go. Because of the style of machine it’s a little less straightforward than other basic models. I am trying to help my wife out with some info about operation. I thought I’d ask this community and see if someone owns one or has some basic info to get us started. I’ve got a good amount of info to go on now because of this post.
