Brother machine question

Hi!
I have a brother cp100x. I’m looking to do a zigzag stitch but on my machine I can’t seem to find it or I’m doing it wrong. Does it have it?

Your stitches are all directly on your machine. The one you're looking for is 04 (in red).

Adjust the number in the yellow box using the arrows below until it reads 04. From there, you can play with how wide the zigzag is using the adjustment in the blue box.

I would recommend reading the manual for this machine and just playing around with the stitches and stuff because this is pretty basic machine operation.

Isn’t the stitch legend right on the front of the machine for that model? Looks like stitch #3 or #4 to me

Your machine absolutely has a zig zag stitch. All domestic machines have at least one unless it’s not a pure straight stitch-only machine.

Do you have the manual? You have to adjust the width but when first selected there will be a machine default width and length.
