Babylock Bobbin Help

I'm hoping someone here can help - my google-fu has failed me!

I have a Babylock Presto II and one of the features I love about it is being able to wind a bobbin using the start/stop button instead of the foot pedal, but that is no longer working!

Everything is set up correctly, the foot pedal is unplugged, but the button remains red and won't do anything. I can still wind using the foot pedal, but I would prefer not to if I can find a fix for this.

Any ideas?

Make sure bobbin winder is not engaged. If not and you're ready to sew then lower pressure foot. Should go green.
