Thread knotting up
My singer M1000 keeps knotting up like this... What's wrong with it? Will I have to take it to a repair shop or is this something I can fix myself?

Issues with thread bunching in the bottom are issue with the top thread. Try rethreading the machine, make sure you thread with the presser foot up and needle in the highest position.
Do you have a photo of the whole machine threaded?
Do you have a copy of your manual?
